With Knol you are able to create content pages, called knols, on the subjects of your interest and expertise, and earn money for that. I haven’t tried it yet, so I don’t know how much exactly you can earn. It’s up to you to find it out, I believe. It’s very simple to create a knol. You just need to enter a keyword rich title, then a summary and add relevant images to your knol. You are allowed to make your pages open, so that anyone can edit those pages or set the pages moderated. You are able to publish your knol anytime you want.
Every time you publish your knol, make sure your content follow knol content policy, because this content policy is very strict.
It should be mentioned, that you have full control over your knol, which means that you can control interactions on your knol from your settings. There are some interactive features added to knolls by default, like writing reviews or reading comments.
Knol gives you an opportunity to monetize your knols with AdSense ads. Keep in mind, that the knol community may flag you as a spammer, if you create your knoll just to put AdSense ads on it.
